Off Leash K9 Training, Fort Lauderdale · Private One-on-One Lessons
Dog Obedience Training in Fort Lauderdale
No group classes, no treats-in-pocket bribery. Private lessons with a professional trainer teach your dog to obey the first time — outside, around distractions, and eventually off-leash. By the end of the basic package, your dog listens on command in the real world — on a busy sidewalk, at a dog-friendly patio, on the seawall — not just in the living room.
- ★ 4.9 rated — our South Florida team
- E-collar & training leash included
- Serving Fort Lauderdale & Broward County
The 4-Lesson Basic Curriculum, Lesson by Lesson

- “Come,” “Sit,” and “Extended Sit.”Recall and a sit your dog holds — the foundation everything else stands on.
- “Place” and “Extended Place.”Your dog goes to a spot you point at — a bench, a chair, a paddleboard — and stays there until released.
- “Heel” — loose leash walking.Walks that don't dislocate your shoulder, right beside you.
- “Down” and “Extended Down.”Plus “Off” — the command that corrects any unwanted behavior.
Every basic and advanced package includes the e-collar and training leash — they arrive at your first lesson.

The Basic Commands
- Come — recall to you, every time called.
- Sit — sit and hold it; “extended” means until released.
- Down — lie down and stay down, even as life goes by.
- Place — go to the object you point at and stay on it.
- Loose Leash Walking — walking politely at your side without pulling.
- Off — the all-purpose “stop that”: jumping, counter-surfing, chasing.
The Advanced Commands
- Extended Distance Obedience — commands obeyed from far away.
- Heel / Focused Heel — precision walking at your side, attention on you.
- Watch — eye contact on command, cutting through distraction.
- Through — your dog moves between your legs on cue.
- Front & Stand — positional control: come to face you, or stand and hold.
- Touch — nose-target your hand, a building block for more.
- Casting / Send Away — direct your dog to a spot at a distance.
- Leave It — disengage from whatever tempts them.
- Greeting, Meal & Door Manners — calm behavior around guests, food bowls, and open doors.
